Massena Memorial Hospital provides surgical care and procedures for patients of all ages, performing over 3,000 procedures each year. The hospital utilizes state-of-the-art equipment to perform highly technical surgical procedures. The Surgical Services Department at Massena Memorial Hospital was completely renovated and enlarged in the mid-1990's, in part through donations made toward that project through a community funding.

Our services include General Surgery, Orthopaedics (including total replacement of knees, hips and shoulders), Urological Surgery, Gynecologic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery (ENT), and a wide range of Endoscopic procedures. Both laser surgery and laparoscopic surgical procedures are available. The anesthesia department also provides Pain Clinic services for area patients suffering from acute or chronic pain.
